For a complete understanding of The Residence please read these 4 tips.

  1. The Residence has a few audio failures so volume up or down when necessary, each video has its own script written at the bottom.
  2. If any mistake or concept doesn’t fit reality: don’t worry, nothing will happen.
  3. The Residence’s purpose was to channel my student’s English language correct pronunciatin through their endless capacities and creativity.
  4. Enjoy the film.

The Residence

Plot: Presentation of the characters (Perfect audio)
Narrator Palmira: Once upon a time in an old women and men’s residence there were six good old friends: Florencio, Sito, Doris, Lola and of course, me, Palmira.
And now my dear listeners get ready to be amused by this incredible history.

1. Street Protest

Plot: A rebellion to get higher pensions. (Low audio, volume up)
Florencio: Bua! The kids of today are so obsessed with Play Stations…
Lola: Yes! Play Station, mobile phones, MP4s.
Doris: Playing, playing! They forget their grandparents!
Sito: I agree, but there’s something I am more worried about, our low pensions.
Doris: It’s unacceptable, we need better pensions!
Florencio: And that’s why we don’t have enough money to play bingo.
Lola: I can’t stand it anymore. It’s time to stand against the responsible(s) of this situation. Let’s make a rebellion.
Sito: Yes! Demission, all politicians out!
All: Demission, all politicians out!

2. A top secret meeting

Plot: Plan B: kidnap politicians and world leaders. (Low audio, volume up)
Narrator Palmira: But the plan didn’t come out as expected. Politicians didn’t listen to them and they called for an urgent top secret meeting.
Florencio: OKAY, they didn’t listen to us.
